A plate, sand and a tone. That's cymatics.
In 1787 Ernst Chladni drew a violin bow along the edge of a metal plate covered in sand. The sand fled the areas that vibrated and settled on the lines that stayed still. Every frequency drew a different pattern.
Cymatica does the same thing with mathematics. It works out which vibration mode belongs to each frequency and draws it the way you would see it on a square plate, on a circular plate, on the surface of water or as a Lissajous curve. The higher the frequency, the more nodal lines and the more cells. There is no trick: go up 1 Hz and the shape changes by 1 Hz.

One preset, four modes
Switch mode and you see the same preset drawn another way.
- ChladniSquare plate. Integer (m, n) modes.

A preset does not set the mode: it sets the frequency, the ratio and the layer, and you choose how to draw it.

Choose a frequency.
A named preset (528 Hz · Solar plexus) or the open slider from 60 to 2600 Hz. You can type the exact number.

Listen to it.
Press Listen. Turn the volume down first: pure tones tire you faster than music. On headphones you hear the whole tone.

Change the shape.
Mode, palette and geometry layer. A preset does not change the mode: switch modes and you see the same preset's equivalent.
Nine tones, nine shapes, nine intentions.
The Solfeggio frequencies are a nine-tone scale that a modern tradition associates with states of consciousness. Cymatica does not ask you to believe anything: it lets you hear them and see what shape each one produces.

Seed, Flower and Fruit of Life, Metatron's Cube, the five Platonic solids, the torus, the golden spiral. Sixteen layers that are drawn on top of the field and respond to it.
Every layer deforms with the vibration field, turns with the level of the signal, and some of them change with the ratio between the two tones. The Sunflower, for example, redistributes its seeds by the golden angle when you set the ratio to φ. It is not a pasted image: it is geometry calculated in the shader, frame by frame.

Meditate
You choose the length, a breathing pattern (coherent 5-5, box 4-4-4-4 or 4-7-8) and a sound. The visual breathes with you: it expands on the inhale and draws in on the exhale. At the end, a bell and a card you can share.
Nine levels
The Path
Nine levels from 174 to 963 Hz. Every level is a minimal session with an intention and a question. Finishing one opens the next. Three sessions consolidate the level.

A slightly different tone in each ear. What you hear is a slow pulse that exists in neither channel on its own. Headphones only. Pro.

The Path walks the nine Solfeggio frequencies in order. It is not a course and it is not a game. It is a ritual with clear rules: you cannot skip, and you only move on when you finish.
Every level has a frequency, a geometry layer, a breathing pattern and a minimum length: 5 minutes for the first three, 8 for the middle three, 10 for the last three. Finishing the session opens the next level. Three sessions on the same level earn you the star. On the way out, a question to take with you.

Q1Does this heal anything?
Cymatica is a tool for looking at sound and for stopping for a while. What it does is physics: every frequency draws a different shape, exact and repeatable, and sitting for ten minutes watching it while you breathe is a practice with an intention, like any other. The names of the frequencies (Forgiveness, Heart, Crown) come from the Solfeggio tradition and in Cymatica that is what they are: a name for an intention. It is not a medical device and it does not replace a professional; if you have a health condition, talk it over with whoever treats you.
Q2Do I need headphones?
To explore, no. For Binaural, yes: the effect only exists when each ear gets a different tone. On speakers there is no binaural, only two mixed tones. For meditating, headphones help you shut the world out, but they are not required.
Q3Why is there no sound on my iPhone?
Check the silent switch on the side: on iOS, with silent mode on, Safari will not play audio from the web. Turn it off and press Listen again. If you are using an in-app browser inside Instagram or TikTok, open it in Safari.
Q4What happens if I cancel?
You cancel from your account, in the payment portal, in two clicks. You stay Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that you go back to the free version: your presets in the cloud are kept for 90 days in case you come back, and your progress on The Path stays in your browser.
Q5How does the 14-day guarantee work?
If Cymatica is not what you expected in the first 14 days after you pay, write to me and I refund the full amount, no questions. It applies to Pro, to Founders and to the Ableton device. Even if you already downloaded the device.
Q6What is Founders?
Fifty places at €99 for life, open for 60 days from launch. It includes all of Pro and the Ableton device. "For life" means for as long as Cymatica exists as a service, with no fees and no increases. Founders is how I start, with 50 people who back this before it is all finished. If Founders is closed, Pro monthly and Pro yearly are still there.
